Signs You Need to Detox Your Liver ASAP—And How to Do It

The liver is a multitasking organ, working to keep your blood clean, metabolism functioning and digestion system strong. It’s also responsible for filtering out the nutrients that are available in the foods you eat and spreading them throughout your body by way of your bloodstream, and then eliminating the toxic waste that’s left behind from this process.

In addition to these vital roles, the liver regulates blood supply by ensuring there’s enough blood stored, allowing the blood to clot, and breaking down damaged blood cells so that they can be eliminated from the body through urine or stool. ( 1 )

Clearly, the liver plays an important role in our health, and when it doesn’t function properly, we are at risk of experiencing symptoms like fatigue, weakness, and digestive issues. It’s important to note that liver issues don’t only occur in people who drink alcohol heavily. They can also affect people with a poor diet, those who are under high amounts of stress, anyone exposed to air pollution and environmental toxins, and people on prescription medications or antibiotics. And since that just about covers everyone walking the planet right now, it’s also important to note that a good liver cleanse can help to get this hard-working organ back on track.

When you take liver cleanse pills, do you also need to limit your diet to vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc?

I currently purchased Enzymatic Therapy Complete Liver Cleanse. It is a 2 week program (you take 3 pills in the morning and 3 before bedtime). I know that I should not be consuming alcohol while taking the pills, but I am not sure if I should also be

I know that the pamphlet that comes with that kit mentions a "clean" diet while you are taking the cleanse. Basically-lots & lots of water, low sugar, whole grains, lean protein(including greens & legumes if you don't eat meat), fruits

I am no nutritionist, but I do read a lot about health. I would stay away from any milk products and drink OJ and other fruit juices. Soy products may stick in your liver, so that could hamper what you are trying to do.

how to cleanse your liver without pills?

I want to try a nice liver cleanse, but I'd really like to avoid taking any pills... is there something else I can do? A one-week diet where I eat--this will sound stupid--liver-cleansing foods? :D I'm willing to do anything that doesn't include taking

We "cleanse" 24 hours a day through respiration, sweat, liver, and kidneys.
We can help by eating a healthy diet with minimal added sugar and salt. Lots of fresh fruit, raw nuts, vegetables, lean meats, whole grain foods,

On the news once they did a study about cleanses/detoxes etc. Your body cleans its self and those realy don't help much if at all.
