Microdermabrasion ultimate guide

Microdermabrasion is one of the most commonly performed minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. With time, factors like aging, genetics, solar damage or acne, can result in altered cutaneous texture and facial imperfections. Microdermabrasion helps to reduce these damages, providing smoother and younger skin. Nowadays, there are products on the market that allow you to quickly perform a microdermabrasion at home that does not cause pain nor require anesthesia and is associated with rare complications.

The technique involves the use of a kit with a hand-held device that releases pressurized crystals which exfoliate the stratum corneum, the outside layer of the epidermis, constituted mostly by dead skin cells. By removing this layer, skin instantly appears younger and brighter, with a renewed texture. Read the article below to understand all about the technique, benefits, and limitations associated with this procedure.

Does the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion kit actually do what it says?

According to the skinabrasion.net website, it says it can reduce acne scars and minimize enlarged pores. Is this true, has anyone tried it?
My scars are pretty small, I'm guessing only the top layer is ripped.

you should look for reviews and opinions on the web. there are lots. personally, i don't like neutrogena. people (and me, by expirience) say it's too hard on your skin. mine was itchy and red after i applied a neutrogena product. of course, it may vary

it might do a fair job but alpha- hydroxy really works and is not as expensive!!!
