Team Technologies invests $6 million in Hamblen plant expansion

Team Technologies Inc. has announced plans for a $6 million expansion of its medical equipment manufacturing plant in Morristown, according to state officials.

The expansion is expected to create 160 jobs in Hamblen County.

Founded in 1988, Team Technologies is a leading custom contract manufacturer of dental, medical, cosmetic and industrial products.

In 2013, the Morristown-based company invested $11 million to upgrade its productions facility, creating 200 jobs.
