When is the best time to take whey protein in order to gain muscle and get ripped?

I did a little research and it said that you should take one protein shake as soon as you wake up, then one before you work out and also one after. Idk what to do, I work out in the morning so I'm not gonna take a shake when I wake up, then take one

When to take whey protein, and what are some good products?

I'm thinking of buying whey protein for weight gain and was wondering when should I take it?

Ok so I wake up at 6:30, go to school, get home and work out right after I get home (I lift three times a week). I'd probably take it 2-3 times


according to what i have researched before when i thought of starting whey protein, consuming 40 grams of protein immediately after workout is the best whey to take protein along with 30 mins before bedtime. Sleeping is the time muscles process and recover


I take 46 grams of protein upon wakening and 46 grams after working out in the evening. I found the EAS brand is flavored well. I buy it at sam's club. 4# is $28. Lasts a month at the rate I use it. I think it works pretty well.
