whey protein with creatine

We Taste Tested the Preferred Protein Powder of Elite Climber Alex Honnold

The star ingredient, a grass-fed whey protein isolate that’s been cold-processed, is sourced from a German manufacturer and was selected because all of the dairy ingredients are hormone and antibiotic-free and meticulously tested by USDA-accredited labs.

The cold-processed method allows the whey proteins to be concentrated in their purest possible form. Why is this important? Mainly because it allows for a more rapid and higher concentrated absorption of branched-chain amino acids – which are responsible for aiding the body’s metabolic process of creating new muscle protein.

All of Momentous’ products are also gluten-free and NSF-certified . With only 7 grams of sugar, 14 grams of carbs and 150 calories total in a serving size (2 scoops), I felt okay to try the product from a nutritional perspective.

The only thing on the supplement label that gave me pause was creatine. I’ve heard some negative things about creatine supplements in the past and I went back to do a bit more research. It turns out, creatine isn’t all that bad for you – if you are trying to build muscle. It will most likely, however, cause you to retain water , which is not what most of us are looking for in the long term.

Should I follow a whey & casein protein supplementation or whey protein & creatine supplementation? ?

I am 19 years old and I have been working out and using whey protein only as a supplement for over a year now. I see some gains, but I do want more. I have been getting mixed answers from people telling me to add either casein protein or creatine powder

As a nutritionist and trainer, my advice is that you should be taking all 3: Whey, casein, and creatine. There is absolutely no reason why you can't do that. I've been doing it for years, and so have millions of people around the world.

whey protein, glutamine,and bcaas.

I would like to know when is the best time to take whey protein together with creatine. Some told me to take creatine whey 15mins before going to the gym and after. Some told me to take whey and creatine in the morning then after 8 hours take whey protein.

I like taking them together pre workout and right before bed time. Been doing it for 5 years works great for size and strength.

i dont know about creatine though, thats crazy stufff....if you are doing weights for bodybuilding use it..

This depends on your diet and when you are eating foods rich in protein. Here are a few points when it is best to take a protein supplement:

1. Right after a workout - this is when your body goes into a stage of recovery and growth.
