Meanwhile, Kym Staton who founded the Sydney Vegan Club two years ago to support both vegans and those who are trying to be, reports that around 200 new members are joining each month, double the rate of a year ago.

What is a good multivitamin for vegetarians and vegans?

I'm 18 years old and for the last three months I've been a vegetarian. I don't eat any meat or poultry. And I don't eat eggs or milk. I do eat fish though, usually tuna, once a week. What is a good multivitamin and/or other vitamin supplimets to make

Fish is not a fruit. It is a meat. FIsh is meat. You eat fish.

You don't miss stuff from meat and dairy. Just eat good food- lentils and nuts for protein and calcium and iron. That's all you need.

Is there a multivitamin suitable for vegetarians that I'm likely to find at the supermarket?

I looked at a bunch, but they all seem to have gelatin in them. Admittedly I didn't stand there and read every single one of the hundreds of bottles since I didn't have time.


Try VegLife- Vegan One Multiple vitamins and minerals. It is 100% vegan. However, I haven't been able to find it in any supermarkets. Vitamin Shoppe carries it, if you aren't near one locally, you can order it online @ www.nutraceutical.com.


Best bet would be to ask at the health food shops.


I haven't found a suitable veg multi in the supermarket (I've been looking for a loooooong time!) I used to use Schiff's veg multi, which you can find in some chain drug stores, but I recently found out that their vitamin D is animal-sourced (I *think*
