Pfizer Korea launches new Centrum products

“Women have higher requirements for iron and folate, due to the loss of blood from menstruation and for pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects. Men have higher dietary requirements for some nutrients based on energy needs or body size, for example, magnesium, zinc, and thiamin.”

He added that older adults had increased needs for Vitamin D, B and calcium due to lack of estrogen in post-menopausal women that leads to the loss of calcium from their bones and reduced efficiency of Vitamin D synthesis in the skin.

Towards personalized nutrition, the key factors that determine the differences are dietary habits that differ across countries, ethnicities and social, economic status. Conditions and behaviors may require different nutritional needs as well for individuals who have obesity, pre-diabetes or who are athletes.

“Centrum supplementation use at recommended nutrient intake levels can be considered safe and is well tolerated,” Klinken said. “The use of daily multivitamin supplements is an effective way to close the dietary gap.”

Multi-Vitamin Alternative To Centrum? Are There Any Out There?

I took centrum from November 2007-March 2008. I'm anemic and I also need to build up my immune system so I need to take multi-vitamins.

Centrum has a lot of ingredients and I want to take a multi-vitamin that is more natural and healthy

What you need to do is go to a dietian.
I don't think anyonone on the internet can recommend something that can work for you, especially since you are anemic.
A dietian can help by telling you what multi-vitamin you can use to substitute

Yes, go to this site puritanpride.com. great vitamin, etc co been in business for years, we been using for over 20 yrs, no problems, plus great prices, often buy 2, get 3 free, have vitamins same as centrum, etc. save $$$ and get the best

Just check the ingredients in the generics. I take a generic woman's multi. With a brand name, you are paying for the name.

As for how long, you need to discuss that with your doctor. No one here knows your health and condition and can't

Does taking a multi-vitamin like Centrum daily cause you to gain weight?

I've tried googling this & have found mixed answers. So does anyone here know if it does? Also I read an article that says that it isn't good to take one everyday. Also, does taking a multi-vitamin daily boost your energy?

Thank you!

Sorry, it really does vary, because no two people are the same, and there is taking into account your personal health situation.

Some people respond to vitamins by gaining weight, which actually might be healthy for them. Others lose, others

A multivitamin will boost your energy level and will not cause you to gain any weight. A multivitamin is actually supposed to help you lose weight but I very much doubt whether that is actually true.
