My Invisalign journey is well underway and no one even noticed my braces

My mouth was over-crowded and - gulp - I needed to get one of my front bottom teeth taken out to make room for them to straighten. One small detail I should have mentioned in the beginning is my total and absolute fear of the dentist. It's my phobia, if you will.

I suppose that makes it all the more bizarre that I was choosing to put myself through all this. Braces, an extraction, teeth photoshoots, at least monthly dates in the chair......

But once I saw the computer generated virtual 3D plan of what my new teeth would look like at the end of my Invisalign journey, I was more determined than ever to get going.

After three initial appointments, D-Day came along in May and my first set of Invisaligns were fitted. They're basically just clear plastic retainers which I change weekly and which are molded to fit the changing shape of my teeth.

Both braces and invisalign work. Though both are quite painful. D,,: I know from experience that invisalign is worse. I would go with braces... XD Good Luck!!
