Is taking 5-htp and trazadone safe or are there dangers?

I have been taking 100 mg of trazodone as a sleep aid for years. I've recently read that taking 5-htp, magnesium and St. Johns Wort are beneficial to dealing with fibromyalgia. I'd love to try this as an alternative to the never-ending anti-depressants
